PREGNANCY MASSAGE + BODYWORK

Pregnant bodies go through dramatic changes during and after pregnancy. Caring for the body can ease function of the muscles and joints, improving circulation and general body tone, and relieving mental and physical fatigue. You can expect a decrease in inflammation and pain and improvement in sleep, mood, and digestion.

Taking care of your body after delivery is just as important. Massage and bodywork can greatly improve postpartum hormone balance, decrease swelling and fluids, ease neck, back, and pelvic pain, decrease headaches, and give you a sense-of-self again by doing something for you and fulfilling (however small) the need for self-care and your need to be nurtured as well.

You’re more than welcome to bring your new addition (or don’t) to your massage. You can still receive a massage regardless of vaginal or cesarean delivery or if you’re breastfeeding. The presence of barrier sheets, changing of sheets, and sanitization of the table are standard between all clients.

INFANT MASSAGE INSTRUCTION

Infant Massage is a wonderful tool to have when caring for your new baby and can help build your confidence as a parent. Starting from birth, it can help your little one with colic, gas, sleep, muscle development, and overall physical and emotional well-being. It also helps in facilitating a strong bond between your baby and caregiver.
